In 10 words or less:  A side of Wall Street that represents retail brokers and research departments.

Definition: The sell-side of Wall Street are the investment banks and brokers.  They produce research that is then disseminated to their clients.

StockJargon Advice: Sell-side research is burdened by conflicts of interest and  you should take it with a grain of salt.
